Made this because one of my friends was scared off from uploading an OC, due to confusion between these four concepts.
His OC looked similar to another OC, but it was unintentional. Therefore, it fits under coincidence. But some people completely inexplicably thought it fit under ripoff, and even stealing. Which was erroneous, and frankly quite ignorant.
NOTE: Saying that a person's OC looks a bit like yours is FINE. It's only when you claim that they STOLE your OC that there's a problem.
(Not exactly a How Does, but it fit there.)
